"Let's rag the fashion industry!" is a statement we really stand for. Nowadays the fashion world cares more about money and sales, than about caring for the people and the world. Ragged wants to tare apart this ridiculous world and make something better of it. We do this by re-using (hair) waste and using materials which are not harmful for us humans. Ragged also has the meaning of being a bit different and uneven. That is who we are: innovative, different and suitable for everybody. Our clothing is uneven in the sense that we use all kinds of different hairtypes and every clothing item is constructed of different sources.

Our brand, Ragged, wants to decrease the amount of waste in the world. Therefore, we take hair from hairdressers before it ends up in trash. We create new sustainable yarns with hemp and hair. All hair that falls on the ground during the spinning proces will be picked up and transformed into felt items, so we won't waste our materials.

Don't be shocked of our brand. Think about it twice and look around you, isn't hair just an amazing and clean source ? Let's not waste any more than necessary and give hair a new purpose. Together we can take this untouched material and turn it into something new, something different, something awesome!
